Easy Copycat Big Mac Sauce
Has anyone else been seeing versions of Big Mac Sauce popping up at the grocery store? I sure have. But I don’t love the long list of ingredients I can’t pronounce. And to be honest, I grew up exclusively with homemade burgers and so I actually don’t like McDonald’s burgers very much, so it’s not even as if I can just get my fix by going through the drive-thru! But I do love a good burger sauce, which is part of the reason why I wanted to make this absolutely delish copycat recipe. Let me tell you, it’s mind-blowing how much this tastes like the real deal. There is absolutely no mistaking it!
Whether you’re trying to recreate a Big Mac at home (with cleaner ingredients and on the cheap!) or you just want a tasty sauce to dress up your dinner that isn’t just ketchup, we’ve got you covered with this easy Copycat Big Mac Sauce.
It really is simple and I’d bet that you already have all (except one) the ingredients you need, so it’s incredibly inexpensive to make. That one ingredient? Dill pickle relish. You can get it at any grocery store, but most often it’s considered gourmet and comes in a glass jar instead of a squeeze bottle. To make the sauce, simply add everything to a bowl and mix well to combine. Make sure you whisk long enough to get rid of any lumps, with the exception of the relish.
This Big Mac Sauce is a great dip or burger topping for those on the Keto diet, as it’s low carb and high fat. It’s also incredibly easy to make vegan – simply sub out the regular mayonnaise for vegan mayo and slather on the veggie burger!
The sauce can be used in many ways. Spoon onto burgers, sliders, sausages, hot dogs; use as a dip for fries or kabobs, or even drizzle on pizza! It’s incredible how accurate this copycat recipe is, so go ahead and put it on whatever you want. We won’t judge!
